Centre Rules

POOL RULES

For the health, safety and enjoyment of all patrons please follow these rules:

  • Follow staff instructions at all times
  • Shower before entering the pool
  • Children under 3 years and children who are not toilet trained are required to wear a recognised water proof nappy in the pool
  • Children under 5 years must be actively supervised and within arm’s reach at all times
  • Children 5-10 years must be accompanied into the aquatic area and actively supervised at all times
  • Unsupervised children will be removed from the water by lifeguards
  • Running is not permitted around the pool deck
  • Respect lane signage and do not hang on lane ropes
  • Patrons must wear appropriate swimwear, no street wear permitted in pools
  • No bombs or rough play
  • Dive entry is only permitted by trained swimmers and under staff supervision
  • Do not climb or hang off water play equipment
  • Food and drink consumption is not permitted in the pool
  • Glass, ceramic and any other breakable objects are not permitted in the pool area
  • Management strongly recommends the use of lockers for all personal belongings
  • Use of cameras and mobile phones is not permitted in change rooms
  • If you have suffered any gastro like symptoms, please do not use aquatic facilities for 2 weeks

SAUNA RULES

For the health, safety and enjoyment of all patrons please follow these rules:

  • Shower before entering the sauna
  • Wristbands must be worn in the sauna and displayed upon request
  • Children under 16 years are not permitted in the sauna
  • Only use fresh water provided on hot rocks (no oils or pool water)
  • It is advised to spend no longer than 15 minutes in the sauna
  • Pregnant women and people suffering high blood pressure or heart disease conditions are advised not to use the sauna
  • Food and drinks (excluding water) are not permitted in the sauna
  • Street wear, hair and skin treatments, shaving and paper products are not permitted in the sauna
  • Glass, ceramic and any other breakable objects are not permitted in the sauna
  • Management reserves the right to remove or ban individuals or groups from the facility for inappropriate behaviour

HEALTH CLUB RULES

For the health, safety and enjoyment of all patrons please follow these rules:

  • Follow staff instructions at all times
  • Practise personal hygiene by wiping down equipment when finished
  • Bring a water bottle and use a towel at all times
  • If you do not bring a towel with you, you will not be able to work out (towels available for purchase at Reception)
  • Replace all weights after use
  • For the comfort of other patrons please ensure personal hygiene is maintained
  • Do not drop weights and use safety collars at all times
  • Members may not allow entry to any other person(s), either known or unknown to the member. Any breach of access by a member will result in the membership being cancelled immediately and NO REFUND issued. Further suspension from the centre may be applied
  • Please refrain from using unfamiliar equipment without the advice of staff
  • When the gym is busy you are required to share equipment and adhere to any time limits placed by staff
  • Use the storage areas or lockers provided for bags or other personal belongings
  • Press STOP on treadmills when finished and check they are not moving before starting
  • Do not engage in anti-social behaviour such as swearing, spitting, excessive grunting, aggressive behaviour or smoking
  • Children under 14 years are not permitted in the Health Club
  • Cameras or mobile phones are not permitted to be used in change rooms
  • Gym users must adhere to the Health Club dress code at all times
  • No food or drink (other than water bottles/water cooler) is permitted in the gym
  • Remove no equipment from the gym

Health Club dress code

Suitable Attire:

  • Shorts, track pants or recognised fitness wear, T-Shirt, singlet
  • Runners, soft-soled, closed toe exercise/leisure wear

Not Permitted:

  • Denim/cargo pants, clothing with rivets, work boots, hard-soled fashion shoes, open-toed footwear of any kind

GROUP FITNESS RULES

For the health, safety and enjoyment of all patrons please follow these rules:

  • Members must check in to each group fitness class prior to the class commencing
  • Practise personal hygiene by wiping down equipment when finished
  • Bring a water bottle and a towel at all times
  • Have your membership ID on you at all times
  • Wear appropriate footwear and clothing
  • For the comfort of other patrons please ensure personal hygiene is maintained
  • Do not drop weights and use collars
  • Stack all of your equipment in designated after your class
  • Do not drag spinning bikes into place, be mindful of the flooring
  • Entry will not be permitted into any class after the first five minutes of the class starting
  • Spaces in classes must not be reserved — each participant must have a ticket
  • Use the storage areas or lockers provided for bags or other personal belongings
  • Body Pump and Grit Strength - Persons must be a minimum 16 years to participate
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted
  • Please follow staff instructions at all times
