Sensory friendly swimming sessions
The ARC pool is adapted for Sensory Friendly Swimming Sessions, designed with our neurodiverse community in mind, who need a
quieter environment. Crowd sizes and noise will be reduced to create a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Join us for a welcoming and inclusive session where everyone can enjoy the water at their own pace.
The next session will be held on Sunday 11 October 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
The ARC pool will close early in the afternoon and reopen for those who need a quieter environment.
During this swim, you can expect:
- There will be less noise (like turning off the water feature)
- Quiet spaces and places to take a break will be available (bring your own headphones, fidgets etc)
- A smaller crowd with the chance for families to meet each other
- Small and big pool open
- Standard ARC Pool Rules and ARC Conditions of Entry apply.
Attendance is free.
The cafe will be open for food purchases and participants are also welcome to bring their own food.
Bookings
To ensure we can maintain a safe sensory environment, attendance is limited and bookings are essential. Preference will be given to residents of the City of Campbelltown.
To book, please contact Rachel at rmccaskill@campbelltown.sa.gov.au or 08 8366 9353.
